This dress is the reason why I'm posting about the 2012 Met costume institute gala. January Jones went futuristic in canary-yellow strapless Versace dress. Yellow suits her really well, huh
Gold and yellow, my two favorite colors. Solange Knowles rocked the yellow peplum dress by Rachel Roy. Love the bling-blings
Emma Roberts looked sophisticated and simply chic in a tangerine-hued Escada design. Another peplum and color from citrus palette.
Kristen Wig looked elegant in the knee-length lace frock by Stella McCartney. I've always love frocks, especially when it's lace frock.
Finally, something which is not warm-color-schemey. Michelle Dockery in Ralph Lauren dress. Love how the black dress was embellished with a gold corset.
Jessica Stam looked stunning in a Dior Couture gown. The gown is truly a work of art
Leighton Meester looked so Blair-ish in a gold Marchesa dress with a lace bodice and poufy tulle skirt. Though I would prefer it if she let her hair down and curl it. I also think the dress would look better on her if it's sleeveless. And is it just me or her skin looks really awful here?
Sophia Vergara in Marchesa
Love the shimmering and silver-embellished peplum. Yes, I know. Another peplum. The silhouette really brings out her hourglass figure.
