While Whitney Houston's untimely passing was definitely a focus, no one could take the shine away from British songbird Adele, who walked away the Grammy's big winner with six trophies.

Adele's sophomore album, 21, was named album of the year. Beating out top stars like Lady Gaga, the Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars, and Rihanna. Meanwhile, her single "Rolling in the Deep" won Song and Record of the year. She broke down in tears accepting the album trophy explaining that 21 was inspired by something very normal -- "a rubbish relationship." "It's gone on to do things -- I can't tell you how I feel about it. It's been a life changing year." She also won best pop solo performance for “Someone Like You,” best pop vocal album for “21″ and best short-form music video for “Rolling in the Deep.”.

All I have to say is that she really deserves all those awards you know. Her musics are just amazing, the lyrics are so touching and you know, relate-able. And she has that irresistible voice.  Rumor has it that she's no longer the queen of broken heart, well I'm happy for you.
